Artist and educator Betsy B. Hubner is inspired by a profound connection to the places she’s called home. Having exhibited extensively in New England and Boulder County, CO, Hubner’s paintings have won state and regional acclaim.

Hubner earned her MFA from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University. She has been recognized with numerous honors and awards, including a Fulbright Fellowship and a Bigelow Grant.

As an educator, Hubner spent decades sharing her love of the creative process with students at Burr and Burton Academy and Castleton State College, both located in Vermont. Hubner is the state of Vermont’s first-ever National Board Certified Teacher, a role in which she was instrumental in setting programmatic standards for art teachers and art curricula throughout the United States.
